Manthra Varnikam eva cha: ("Sathyajnaanamanantham Brahma"). This manthra or sacred axiomatic formula also refers to the same Anandaswaroop Brahman. Brahman is Ananda; Brahman is Truth, Sathya; Brahman is knowledge, Jnana; Brahma is Infinity; Anantham. Sathyam or Truth is a synonym for Ananda, Bliss. It does not mean anything else. Sathya implies indivisible, immeasurable Ananda. It cannot be affected
by limitations of space or the passage of time or the varying moods of
the experiencers. Ananda will itself purify time, space and the individual.
These three are subdued by Ananda; Ananda is not subservient to these
three; it is not bound to time, space or the individual recipient. Therefore,
God who is designated and described by the manthra can be only partially
known through the Manthra; He does not limit the Manthra, the Manthra
may limit Him. Ananda is the bond which binds both. |
